Establishment and implementation of product quality management policy
SK Enmove operates a quality management system for effective product quality control and is establishing a global top-tier environment, safety, and health (ESH) management system. The company integrates product quality control and safety management into the evaluations of the management team and all company members, thereby operating management policy that clearly defines oversight and responsibility.
Quality Management Review Meeting:
SK Enmove holds the Quality Management Review Meeting annually to continuously improve the quality of
its products, including base oils and lubricants.
Through the meeting, the company aims to minimize potential risks associated with its products and
services, and reviews customer satisfaction, quality audit results, product conformity, and needs for
quality management improvements.
The Quality Management Review requires final approval from the executive management.
Internal Audit Procedure of SK Enmove’s Quality Management Review:
Since acquiring the ISO 9001 certification for international quality management systems in 1993, SK Enmove
has been operating the following internal audit procedure for its quality management system in order to
continuously renew its ISO/TS16949 certification*, which was obtained in 2006 and is required by
automotive manufacturers as a supplier standard.

What is the IATF 16949 (Automotive Quality Management System) certification?
he International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and ISO/TC 176 have integrated the various individual
automotive quality management system standards to establish the ISO/TS 16949 standard, which can be
applied to the quality systems of all companies within the global automotive industry supply chain.
Suppliers and partners in the automotive industry can demonstrate that they have a quality management
system in place for continual improvement, defect prevention, and reduction of variance and waste by
obtaining ISO/TS 16949 certification.
In October 2016, it was updated to the revised version, IATF 16949:2016.
